Serbian President visits BIA

Serbian president Boris Tadic visited today the Serbian Security and Intelligence Agency (BIA) and its organisational units in order to meet with its top officials and members.
Director of agency Rade Bulatovic briefed Tadic on the current security situation in the country, with a special emphasis on the situation in the south of Serbia, as well as on the results of the agency's activities in the previous period.
Expressing satisfaction with his first visit to BIA as Serbian president, Tadic said that he is content with what he has seen, as well as with the results that BIA has achieved in regional cooperation with partner agencies.
The Serbian president put special emphasis on the fact that a system of education and professional development of staff should be a priority of every serious country.
