Decorations awarded on the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia for meritorious service in the field of defense and security - BIA's Operations Department
On the occasion of the Statehood Day of the Republic of Serbia, Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić awarded decorations to meritorious institutions and individuals. The Sretenje Order was awarded to individuals, institutions and associations in the field of culture, economy, science, diplomacy, medicine and sports.
The ceremony organized in the premises of Serbian Presidency building was attended by: Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Ivica Dačić, Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Nebojša Stefanović, Minister of Health, Mr. Zlatibor Lončar, Minister of Defense, Mr. Aleksandar Vulin, Minister of Culture, Mr. Vladan Vukosavljević, Director of the Security-Information Agency, Mr. Bratislav Gašić, Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mr. Milorad Dodik and Bulgarian Prime Minister Bojko Borisov, who was also one of the laureates.
President Vučić pointed put that the State and society are faced with great challenges, as well as that the central values we are guided by are - freedom, peace, equality and love for Serbia.
BIA's Operations Department was awarded The Second Degree Order of Merit for Defense and Security, for performing their duties outstandingly and honorably. The decoration was received by the Head of the Operations Department, Mr. Bojan Dimić.
