Biography of Security-Information Agency Director
Nebojša Rodić
Born in 1953
In 1977 graduated from the Faculty of Law, Belgrade.
In 1979 passed bar exam.
Almost entire employment spent in government bodies of the Republic of Serbia, first as the Assistant of the Minister for Information, then as Undersecretary.
As the employee of the National Parliament of the Republic of Serbia, worked as Deputy Secretary of National Parliament and as the Chief of Cabinet of the President of the Parliament.
Within the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs, worked on legal issues within the General Secretariat, gained the rank of Ambassador.
Since May 2012, was appointed General Secretary of the President of the Republic of Serbia.
Previous employment in Higher School of Technological Professional Studies in Šabac, from 2005 to 2007 posted by the Government of Serbia as acting Director.
Currently, as a professor, giving lectures on basic and specialist studies.
By Decree of the Government of Serbia, dated August 3, 2012, appointed as the Director of the Security Information Agency (BIA) of the Republic of Serbia.
Co-author of the book “All Governments of Serbia from 1804 till 2004”.
Has two sons and two grandsons.
